Brenden believes that every child with a disability should get the opportunity to attend an Easter Seals Camp!
For seven years, Brenden spent a week every summer at one of his favourite places - Easter Seals Camp Squamish, a camp for kids with disabilities. When asked what Easter Seals Camp means to Brenden he says - "it means a LOT - it's 6 days of so much fun! The staff and campers are so nice, everyone is active and doing things the whole time." Brenden enjoys connecting with other campers his age. Brenden's dad Baron says that while Brenden is enjoying a week at camp - his parents get a respite from the constant care that Brenden requires. Brenden's favourite activities at camp are the low ropes course, the big swing, swimming and hanging out at the waterfront. He loves being able to take his wheelchair up the ramps that lead into the fully-accessible tree-house - especially the time he got to hang out up there and eat pizza!
