COMPASS
Explore, Discover, Navigate and Embrace Your Future
COMPASS is a new pilot program that offers persons with diverse abilities an opportunity to develop a personal roadmap to employment in British Columbia and Yukon. Developed in collaboration with industry and community supporters, the COMPASS program is designed to help address industry labour shortages and ensure youth and young adults with diverse abilities have access to these employment opportunities.

the employment rates for working-age adults is 59% for persons with disabilities compared to 80% for persons without disabilities?
COMPASS Program Workshops
The COMPASS program is made up of workshops for persons with diverse abilities to Explore, Discover, Navigate and Embrace their future and have access to employment opportunities. EXPLORE is the first workshop that will be piloted in May 2019 and is designed to engage youth and young adults on a journey to explore employment opportunities in high demand sectors in BC and Yukon.
