Summer isn’t too far away and our Camp Coordinators have been busy planning all the magic that goes into a summer of unforgettable fun. We’ve caught up with a few to ask them some camp questions and will introduce you to them over the coming weeks.
Here’s Grace! Grace is 26 years old and originally from Terrace B.C., now lives in Nanaimo. Grace is our Camp Squamish Programming Coordinator and keeps everything running smoothly and facilitating some Big Fun Camp Magic! She is “so excited for Camp Squamish to ROCK this summer.”
Grace spent her first summer working for Easter Seals in 2018, after she saw a job posting on her university job board and knew it was going to be an especially fun and unique camp job. Keep reading for more of our Q&A with Grace:
What are you most excited for at Camp? The Talent Show, and PRANKING EVERYONE!
What’s one special thing you bring to camp from home? A chill goofy attitude and a big bottle of hot sauce.
How will you spend your days off? Hiking, swimming, and napping.
Favourite camp food? Spaghetti
Favourite camp song? OH BANANA
Favourite special event? Dumping Goo on the Head Coord’s head >:)
What surprised you about camp? How kind and supportive everyone in this Camp Community is, it’s truly the best place on earth.
