The inaugural Okanagan Celebrity Invitation is an amazing celebrity hockey event supporting Camp Winfield in the Okanagan Valley. It’s a premium weekend of hockey, community, and purpose, all supporting ensuring that kids with disabilities can experience the life-changing power of camp right here in the Okanagan.
The event is modelled on the Eric Lindros Celebrity Hockey Classic, and the Celebrity Hockey Classic events which have raised over $10 million for Easter Seals Kids Camps in Ontario over the past 14 years. The NeighbourGood Foundation has partnered with Jackson Events to bring this proven model to British Columbia, and Camp Winfield, right here in Lake Country, is the charitable heart of it all.
The weekend features a VIP NHL Alumni Draft Party on Friday, May 8th at August Luxury Motors, where NHL Alumni are drafted to community teams, followed by Hockey Day on Saturday, May 9th at MNP Place. Three games of fun charity intensity.
