Easter Seals BC/Yukon
Ambassador Program Overview
The Easter Seals BC/Yukon Ambassador Program’s goal is to build a network of individuals with disabilities who can share their lived experiences, celebrate the impact of Easter Seals programs and services, and help raise awareness and support for people with disabilities across British Columbia and the Yukon.

We are looking to recruit three ambassadors for 2027 — one from each of three regions: Greater Vancouver Area, the Okanagan and Vancouver Island. Applicants must have experience with Easter Seals programs, specifically Easter Seals camps and/or Easter Seals House. Individuals may apply independently or alongside a caregiver.
Ambassadors will have opportunities to share their stories in ways that reflect their comfort, interests, communication preferences and accessibility needs. These opportunities may include website features, social media involvement, speaking engagements, ad campaigns and more.
What you can expect as an ambassador:
- Attending fundraising events throughout the year
- Sharing your story over video content
- Advocating for Easter Seals in other areas of your life
- Interviewing with media, journalists or other channels
To support their efforts, ambassadors will receive a $300 honourarium for the year’s commitment.
Application deadline is November 30, 2026.
