Randy and his wife Kimberly had been visiting Easter Seals House for 10 years when he checked in one 2019 day to learn he was our One Millionth House Guest!!

“What most people don’t understand is that when we meet people from the hospital who are also staying at Easter Seals House, there’s this connection that is like no other. When Kim and I returned for a check-up recently, we reconnected with a father and daughter we had previously met on the “millionth visit week” in February 2019. It’ so uplifting to share moments in such a place of refuge!”

“Living in a world that is not accessible and then having the opportunity to go to a summer camp that had a completely accessible environment was life changing,” - Joe Coughlin.

We caught up with Joe Coughlin, award winning Canadian Jazz Vocalist, to talk about his time at Easter Seals Camps as a child, Read about his remarkable career and how his time as an Easter Seals "Timmy" led him crave the spotlight on our website ( link in bio)

Easter Seals House is a special place that provides comfort and love for families facing unimaginable health challenges. Many families find themselves needing medical treatment during the Holiday season.

Marusia, and her son Callum, are one of these families. Maruia shares “It would be a totally different experience for us if we were staying in a hotel. It’s a wonderful place and we’re very grateful it’s here,”

When Eleanor turned 97 she set herself a goal to knit 97 toques for guests at Easter Seals House. Sometimes a warm gift given from the heart can lift a guests spirits on the worst day and Eleanor's gifts have done just that!

Eleanor has kept up this tradition the last 4 years, and just last week dropped off 101 toques for her 101st year of life!

Eleanor's beautiful gift is one we look forward to each year. Thank you Eleanor!

We’re looking forward to another amazing concert from the Saints 5 Boys and their friends Friday, November 25th at Koerner Hall in Vancouver.

“Many children have met barriers to obtaining the resources and support they so desperately need, yet they aspire as much as we do to pursue their passion and be loved. We believe that with your help we can grow closer to a future where every child is given the opportunity to develop to their full potential.” ~ Saints 5 Boys
