National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) is an annual celebration, taking place May 25 – 31, 2025, promoting inclusion and accessibility, while recognizing the efforts of individuals and organizations who are working to remove barriers and create a truly inclusive Canada.
Easter Seals invites individuals to engage with accessibility and inclusion during this week through a number of initiatives.
Student Design Contest
March 24 – May 1
We are challenging students from Grades 5-8 and 9-12 to create a design that addresses the theme “Applying inclusive thinking and actions in everyday life“.
Submissions are due on May 1, 2025.
Red Shirt Day
May 28
People across Canada come together and wear red to create a visible display of solidarity to show their support for people with disabilities and their families, and to celebrate their achievements.
